Nature is incredible.

Before I became an educator, I studied wildlife management, and I will always love the creatures we live alongside. This collection began as a field journal unit I was doing with my fifth graders, and it has found a life of its own. I dive deep into every animal I paint, learning about their physiology, behavior, and habitat, and I pass this learning along in field notes against a clean background.
