High Dive
25 x 25” acrylic on canvas, framed in solid wood.
I got the inspiration for this piece on a flight back to SFO after celebrating a friend’s birthday for the weekend in Nashville. I looked up from my computer on the plane and saw the most gorgeous sky as the sun set below a blanket of clouds - it was just a tiny little window into a vast horizon. I snapped a picture and this piece came to life in my studio the next week. At the time, I felt a little bit like I was getting ready to leap into a very unknown future - terrifying and wonderful.
